Our Heritage season at Quay Words has lots of ways for you to get involved.
In partnership with Interwoven Productions CIC we have free community workshops for people connected to Exeter to dig into their local history. We’re also partnering with Creative Futures to offer a 6 week course on fiction writing specifically for underrepresented writers. Find out more here.
We’ve got lots to keep you entertained during the longer winter evenings. You can find out about the Devon fisherman turned Icelandic hero Pike Ward on 13th October 6.30pm. Andy Brown and Marc Woodward will be launching their joint collection The Tin Lodes, and serenading us with a few songs and poems from their new collection Grace Notes, inspired by their shared love of music on 1st December.
And don’t forget to add Saturday 4th December to your diary when the Custom House will be bursting with seasonal spirit for our Festive Book Fair. Come in to buy some beautiful books, enjoy free craft activities and perhaps a mince pie too!
