Quay Words in Audio

We were pleased to launch the first ever Quay Words podcast in August 2021.

Over the past few months, we’ve been finding new ways to explore a love of words and stories in digital formats. Quay Words is a programme which takes place at the historic Exeter Custom House. During this time, we can’t be in the building but we can certainly find ways to share the stories of Exeter Custom House and the city of Exeter.

One of the ways we’ve decided to do this is by hitting your podcasting apps with the Quay Words podcast. A monthly offering, these podcasts will feature the writers we work with, the people we meet and the stories they have to share.

Enjoy!

We're delighted to share Ellen Wile's immersive listening piece The New RIverscapers: A Beaver's Tale.

Quay Words Podcast 4 in conversation with Tolu Agbelusi

In Spring 2021 Libraries Unlimited and Quay Words invited Tolu Agbelusi to be their shared writer-in-residence at Exeter Library and Exeter Custom House, with the aim of exploring the stories of Exeter’s remarkable women. This podcast is the result of that residency. Also take a look at our film here: https://exetercustomhouse.org.uk/quay-words-in-film/
