Wednesday 13 October 2:00 - Wednesday 10 November 4:00 pm
These workshops are free and have been designed for Exeter locals and residents to explore their local heritage; they are being led by Jojo Spinks at Interwoven Productions CIC.
These sessions run on Wednesday afternoons from 13th October – 10th November 2021, between 2 – 4 pm.
PLEASE NOTE: We are intending for these workshops to take place in-person at Exeter Custom House and will be following social distancing guidance at the time of running. Spaces are limited, book now via Interwoven CIC. Quay Words can also support your travel to the Custom House if needed. If travel support would help you take part, please let us know whilst booking and we will be in touch.
Some words from Jojo Spinks:
Hi, I’m Jojo Spinks and my family was one of those who moved from the West Quarter to Burnthouse Lane in the 1930s. (My dear nan is in the photo above, taken on the roof of Folletts!). These days, I help communities find creative ways to celebrate their places and their heritage. Come and join me for a series of West Quarter heritage sessions designed to bring the writer out in you. I know you’ve got the stories, why not let me help you shape the words? These are the stories of Exeter – they’re important – Let’s tell them together.
