Join poet Fiona Benson and novelist Jane Feaver, both of whom have strong links to Exeter and are highly acclaimed, for an evening of readings and discussion, celebrating some of the writing coming out of Exeter.

About Fiona Benson 

Fiona Benson lives in rural Devon with her husband James Meredith and their daughters, Isla and Rose. Her pamphlet was ‘Faber New Poets 1’ in the Faber New Poets series, and her full-length collection Bright Travellers (Jonathan Cape, 2014), received the Seamus Heaney Prize for first collection and the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize. Her second book is Vertigo & Ghost (Cape, 2019)

About Jane Feaver 
Jane Feaver is a novelist and short story writer. Her first novel, According to Ruth (Harvill Secker, 2007) was shortlisted for the Author’s Club Best First Novel Award and the Dimplex Prize. Her latest novel is An Inventory of Heaven (Corsair, 2012). Love Me Tender (Harvill Secker, 2009), a collection of inter-linked stories was shortlisted for the Edge Hill Short Story Prize. Jane is a lecturer in creative writing at the University of Exeter.
