Do you have a single poem, work in progress, that you’re looking for expert insight on? These poetry surgeries are a chance to gain detailed feedback on one poem from award-winning poet Ella Frears.

You will be asked to supply your poem (one side of A4 maximum) by 3pm on Thursday 20th July. Ella will read your poem ahead of the session and then give you one-to-one feedback in your 45 minute online session.

Ella Frears is a poet and artist originally from Cornwall, now based in London. Her debut collection Shine, Darling (Offord Road Books, 2020) was shortlisted for the  T. S. Eliot Prize for Poetry. Last year Ella was named the first ever Poet in Residence for the Dartington Trust’s grade II listed gardens selected by Alice Oswald.  She is currently a Creative Fellow for Exeter University and hosts chat and music show Tears for Frears on Soho Radio.
