At Quay Words we enjoy collaborating with partners to bring exciting events to the programme. We’ve teamed up with Speaking Volumes to host author, poet and musician Anthony Joseph at the Transit Shed for an enthralling performance of spoken word and improvised jazz on 15^th September.

Anthony will read from his novel, The Frequency of Magic, accompanied by some of the UK’s finest musicians, including Marcus Vergette, who will provide musical accompaniment to Anthony’s performance. After you’ve watched it, head inside Exeter Custom House to enjoy the Recalibration exhibition- featuring Marcus’ work, curated by Honeyscribe. The Custom House will stay open until 10 pm for you to explore.
