Quay Words is to be joined by Anita Sethi, who will be reading from her work I Belong Here, a journey of reclamation through the natural landscapes of the North, brilliantly exploring identity, nature, place and belonging. The reading will be followed by a conversation with Literature Works CEO Helen Chaloner and questions from the audience.
This event will be in-person at Exeter Custom House as well as live-streamed. Anita Sethi was born in Manchester, UK. Her new book, I Belong Here: a Journey Along the Backbone of Britain is the first in her nature writing trilogy, published by Bloomsbury. I Belong Here has been described as “a thing of beauty” by the Sunday Times, “a memoir of rare power” by the Guardian, and as ‘a magnificent and redemptive achievement’ by The Bookseller.
