In Wendy Meddour’s and Duncan Beedie’s latest picture book, Stefano the Squid, Stefano sets out to discover what sets him apart. The unassuming squid soon finds out that even the most ordinary creatures are capable of extraordinary deeds.
Come and join us for this interactive storytelling and craft session, which features everything from pufferfish to hammerhead sharks – and meet the slightly wobbly hero that will win over readers’ hearts.

Wendy is an internationally best-selling children’s author and creative writing lecturer at Exeter University. She regularly appears at international book festivals but is excited to be joining us at the Custom House.
